upgrades break links

Any time I upgrade, my links to documents breaks.  Just tried to do the latest, and it broke links again.  I restored the back-up to make it work again.
I really want to have the latest version, but cannot make it work.  

Site is  www.leonbergerclubofamerica.com/
there is a link on the front page as one example -  www.leonbergerclubofamerica.com/docs/vie...105/member-practices

If I upgrade this breaks.

You can backup file: root -> components -> com_edocman -> router.php before upgrading new Edocman version. After installation new Edocman version, you can copy file: router.php to override an existing file in that folder to avoid links broken

Took awhile for all the cache to clear - but that worked.  Closing ticket.
