How to I list categories alphabetically?

I'm trying to show a list of all categories from a menu link.

I can see no obvious or intuitive to have the list sorted alphabetically

Is there a way to do that?

Maybe you meant
1. Open file: root -> components -> com_edocman -> classes -> category.php

but I'm not seeing classes there nor can I find category.php.

I am sorry, i thought this is OS Services Booking topic. Come back to your question, to change the ordering type of Edocman categories, please go to Edocman Configuration -> Tab: Themes and select option "Title" in field Category View -> Default categories sort option

Unfortunately for me the sorting option does not work. No mater what option i chose in the back-end, no change occurs in the front end. All categories are sorted by the creation date or maybe ID (newest is the last in the list).
This is valid for the Category Tree module and Categories List menu item.

Any feedback for the above subject?

Please submit ticket on category: Edocman and provide your site url with super admin account. I will check the problem for you
