A way to show pictures as a gallery that are managed by edocman

Hi,
we want to have a possibility to manage pictures that are not reachable by the publicity. Our document handling with edocman is perfect. At the moment i search for a solution to upload the pictures in edocman and show the pictures in a category or an article as a gallery.
I search for this and get answers that edocman has no direct solution/module for this. Do you guys to find an alternative way to implement this? Maybe with a kind statement {edocman link...} and then it is directly as a preview in an article.

Gallery is one of feature of Edocman, it allows you to upload pictures for document, and those pictures will be shown in document details page.
I will consider to find solution to show pictures of document in article in near future.
