Hello

I have two questions:

1. Is it possible to create sef url for search results from edocman search module?
Currently, when search is performed it creates url like this:
www.ourwebsite.com/component/edocman/sea...tegory=0&Itemid=1093
Which is ugly and reveals component name. We would like to have it to look more professional.
Preferably something like this:
www.ourwebsite.com/search-results?filter_search=Search term
It would be ideal if we could create joomla menu item to edocman search function, with ability to specify search options.

Any suggestions?

2. I would also like to know answer for this topic: Need a search field that stays on top of results. joomdonation.com/forum/edocman/67165-nee...-results.html#131108

Thanks,
Regards

Hi Krx,
I don't think we can make sef links in Search result page, because the search function is using GET method to submit the search criteria, and the search options are difference too. So that, we can't make one sef link for all search criteria.
Thanks

Hi

I semi-solved 1st question by creating hidden menu item to selected edocman category.
After that I entered joomla menu id in edocman search module.
With this approach at Ive hidden first part of previously mentioned url and only filter stuff remains at end.

2nd question is solved by duplicating edocman search module so that another one shows only in menu item which I created in my 1st question.
