Save buttons not working when adding category

I am working with an Ubuntu LAMP server and the only portion of Edocman that isnt working is the ability to save, save+new and save+close when adding Categories. The close button works fine and the ability to import categories is functional but once you open an imported category, I am unable to save any changes. Just to be clear, I can upload documents and make edits to the documents properties, this only affects Edocman categories.

I am running Joomla 3.9.12 using Edocman version 1.16.2

Ive searched the forums and wasnt able to find anything similar. All other save buttons work in Articles, Joomla categories, etc.

Please try click on My Downloads at the top and download Edocman 1.16.2 and install it into your site, and then, try to edit & save category to see if the issue is resolved or not?
