document buttons not showing

Hi, I recently had to copy and installation of Edocman from one Joomla installation to another. I carefully migrated all the files and database information over and all seemed to be working correctly. However, some documents are not showing the "View" and "Download" buttons and the global setting to have the document title download the document is not working. This problem is happening for some documents and not others. In the example link below, I tried to re-assign the additional category to the document. When I did this, a second instance of the document showed up below that is working correctly. Is this happening because of how the component was copied over? Are there any commands that could be run to clear up this issue?

Thanks for your quick response.
I actually had already tried those two links which you shared in a different thread. When I do so, I get a blank screen with the Joomla menu at the top. It does not seem to fix the issue. (see a the attached screen shots).
