Problem with sef routing in latest documents

I added an Edocman latest documents module to my home page and the links are now routing to /upload?id=23 instead of the document details page.

I tried again with a clean Joomla installation and it doesn't do this so any suggestions for what might have gone wrong in my other installation? Why has the routing changed on this and not on the clean installation? Any ideas?

e.g. the URL index.php?option=com_edocman&view=document&id=137&Itemid=187 is turning into upload?id=137
