Ok yes I have tried other file / document management components and seriously eDocman is just a really nice component. Obviously it would be even better if...
1. Version Control (when you upload a file and if you upload that same file it requires either auto updating version (minor .x or major x.) or prompt user to enter a version number but can not be the same as it was. Also when you download a file it would be great if it auto-appended the version at the end of the file. For example: document.doc uploaded and it automatically gets document 1.0 and if I downloaded that file it would be document_v1.0.doc (why? well when you download multiple copies you would know the version you want. Also you can reference your clients/customers what version is there document.)
2. I love the table layout that DocMan does where you have a tree on the left with drill down and then click the category you want and at the same time showing the files on the right. Feels like a File Explorer and its a nice layout. Would be great if you could do something similar.
