Direct file link for menu was created by troy morse
Hi I would like to be able to link a menu item directly to a file instead of having it take you to the "document details" page is the possible. For example I am working on a school website and under Parents & Students on the main menu I have a menu link called "Activities" which should link directly to a PDF document showing all the activities for the school. How do I make it a direct link that opens in a new window? Right now it takes you to the "Details" page for that doc and gives you the option to download or view. I want it to go directly to "view" and just bypass the details page. That is just another step that is not needed.
Here is the URL to my site: rfdist13.org/index.php/schools/merrill-elementary-school
Thanks
Troy

Hi,
Edocman doesn't have feature to setup menu to "view" specific document. If you want to have that feature, we can implement it for you with small additional cost. I will wait for your response
Thanks

How much will it cost to implement it? Will I be able to create the links myself once you have made changes or is it something you will need to do every time I want to create a direct link to a specific document?
Troy
