EDocman Jomsocial User integration problem

First of all, I love using Edocman and believe it is by far the best document handler for Joomla!

I have a serious problem where my users in Jomsocial/Joomla are not integrating with Edocuman during the front end upload process.
When a User uploads a document, Edocman does not retain the user id of the uploader.

Suggestions? Attached is a screenshot.
