Messages to all users from the backend was created by Michael Starz
Dears,
we are using Edocman and the EDocman Notification Plugin which are both great. However we observe one problem with the messages "to all users":
- when adding new documents from the frontend a message is sent out to all users with the correct link to the document
e.g.: domain.tld/index.php?option=com_edocman&view=document&id=XXX
- however even by adding new documents in the backend for administration reasons the same message is sent out but unfortunately with a "wrong" URL:
e.g.: domain.tld/ administrator/index.php?option=com_edocman&view=document&id=XXX
As none of the users has access to the backend this notification makes no sense for the users or at least the URL in the notification makes no sense.
Question:
- is is possible, to turn off notifications for backend activities
- or at least is it possible that such backend-notification contain an URL w/o administrator in it?
Thanks for any helpful hints.

Hi Michael,
It's strange issue, please submit ticket and send your site url with super admin account. I will help you to make the modification to disable sending email when new document is uploaded from back-end side.
Thanks
Dam

Hey Dam,
thanks for your fast response. Ticket is created. Could you pls. provide me with a mail adress to which I could send the URL and the access data? I don't want to post this in the public.
