MediaFire plugin versus OS Solutions PDF plugin

I've just purchased EDocman for a project and am liking what I see so far.

Question:
What is the difference between the MediaFire PDF plugin and the OS Solutions plugin?

I've got no problem paying for the OS Solutions PDF indexer but just curious what the differences are. I have several thousand PDF files that will be included in this project and need to know which PDF indexer works better.

My question is what is the difference between the plugin above (for free) compared to the plugin below (for $29.95):

Hi Jerry,
The plugin: Edocman indexer (of Edocman extension) is allow you to index documents in Edocman when you upload/edit each document from Back-end or Front-end side. But it will able to index one document on one time.
PDF Indexer is another extension of us, it allows you to index pdf files in specific directory in your Joomla site, it also has feature to index all documents of Edocman extension.

Looks like I will need both plugins since I have around 40,000 PDF's to index at the start.
