Can I set layout style using embedded article tags

Hi there.

I am using embedded tags, i.e. {edocmancategory 11} in articles to display documents categories.

Is it possible to change the default layout from Categories to Table using the above tag, i.e.: {edocmancategory 11 table}

Also, can I change the default display for file type in the table list from application/octet-stream to something more friendly like PDF, Docx, Doc, etc.

Nevermind...I realize you can set layout style via the Category parameters even if using embed tag.
