Sir,
After uploading a PDF document the edocman_documents table shows the following in the indexed_content field..
sh: blah blah blah.com/edms/plugins/edocman/indexer/binaries/linux/pdftotext: cannot execute binary file
Any idea?

Hi Edward,
To solve the issue, please change perrmission of file: edms/plugins/edocman/indexer/binaries/linux/pdftotext to 777 and check the Indexer function again. If it doesn't work, please download the attachment to your desktop, extract it and copy file: pdftotext to directory edms/plugins/edocman/indexer/binaries/linux (override existing file) and change permission of new file to 777.
After that, you can check the Indexer function again
