Default view document instead of download was created by Ron Ake
Using the table layout menu item, the names of the files are listed along with a download link. Since the download link is there, I would like the link on the file name to default to view the document instead of download it. How do I do this in edocman?

Hi Ron,
Edocman has configure option: Use Download Link to Document title (Tab: Themes). If you select No in this field, we will able to open the document details instead of downloading it when clicking on the Document title
Thanks
Dam

That option displays either the download link or the details page. What I want is to view the file in the browser without going to the details.

Hi Ron,
Unfortunately, Edocman doesn't have that feature. In fact, the Document viewing function on browsers directly is sensitive. We can't make sure documents can be visible on any browsers. So that, we can't implement that feature.
Thanks
Dam
