limit displayed number of downloads in a category

I looked in Configuration > geneal / Themes & also in the category set up, but I can't see where to limit the number of documents displayed.

I have 26 downloads in one category & ideally like to use some sort of pagination after 10, or so downloads.

This is a Joomla article that is using the tag to pull the contents of the category - mynewsite.me.uk/merseygpst/gp-trainer-gr.../st-helen-s-knowsley

In Configuration > Tab: Themes, there is the field called: Documents per Page. You can setup number of documents that will be displayed in one page.

I already used that and have set setting set to 5, but all documents are showing.
