EDOCMAN Table Layout View : Add Columns

Good Day,

I am posting another concern on the EDOCMAN Table View Layout,

my boss wants to add columns rather than the Title,Date and Download Button in the Table Layout View

How do I add columns in the layout? I would like to add a view button and an edit button in the Table Layout View without going to the details view.

Note: I am a beginner in CSS coding and learned only in the inspect buttons and adjustments here in joomla.

You can make the modification on the Column layout in file:
root > components > com_edocman > view > common > document_table.php

Can I ask What application do I need to Open the document_table.php? because the Windows 10 is asking me on what application should I use, usually I only have the Notepad and no FireBug installed.

and what would I customize in the .php File?
