Public Document within Registered Category?

Is it possible to allow access to a public document, but store it within a category set to Registered access? We are using the Edocman link button within a module to link to a document that we've made Public and downloadable for the public, but when you select Download, you are denied access. Just wondering if this is possible. Thanks.

Hi Robin,
You should select Allow in Permission Download for group: Public in Document modification page. In that case, public user will able to download document.
