add fileextension to filename

How can i add the file-extension to the file name of auto-imported files ?

Thanks; but that was not my question ;

when i have the following files:

file1.txt
file2.doc
file3.pdf

and i auto import the files; the names become:

file1
file2
file3

how can i automaticly make the import add the extension to the name so the names are:

file1.txt
file2.doc
file3.pdf
