No message error if file too big was created by Julien S
Hello,
When I upload a file bigger than the size in the configuration (cf screenshot), I have a successfull message but empty file.
Why I don't have the eerror message to noticed the file is too big?
Thanks!

Hi Julien,
You need to make sure that the PHP variable upload_max_filesize is enough for uploading the big file size or else you need to upload the files through ftp and selecting existing file on server for your documents.
Thanks
Dam

Hey!
Thanks for the quick answer. I just want a notification to alert user than the file is too big to be uploaded.
For now, I have a successfull message and the user think it's ok... but no
So I would like a good "error" like "file is too big"

Hi Julien,
You can setup the limit file size at Configuration of Edocman, in that case, when user upload file that bigger than limitation value, Edocman will show the error to notice user.
Thanks
Dam

But it looks that it dosen't work all te time
Here screens to show you
And for a file 4m5 if limit conf is 4 and server 5 M, I have the good error (last screen)
EDIT:
I have an idea, does the problem is :
If the limit server is reached, the limit from Edocman isn't used and there is no error message.
Do you have a idea to solve this?

Hi,
Edocman will only work with Limitation configure option of component. Edocman won't able to check the upload limit value of hosting. So i think you can use the configure option of Edocman to prevent big file size uploaded.
Thanks
Dam
