View button doesn't work

Hello,

1. from some reason the View button doesn't work and instead of showing me file it downloaded the file.

2. I know it's probably impossible but I will try is there any way to enable View button to show the PDF file via embed viewer like Google or ohter viewer (see here heinelt.info/index.php?option=com_conten...icle&id=34&Itemid=50 )

I'm having exactly the same problem. When I click "View" it says ' the download link has been sent'. I have a large amount of PDF files that my users will need to be able to view without downloading.

Please go to Back-end > Edocman > Configuration > and select value for field: Download Type is: Direct Download
The issue will be solved.

I had this problem, too, but not until I did an upgrade from 1.7.3 to 1.7.4. Did the upgrade cause the problem? Are there any other items that need to be checked?

We are working to figure the problem with that configure option. We will try to fix the issue if it is persist on next Edocman version.

I had the same issue and unpublished drop box in plugins , EDocman Dropbox and works now
