PDF Indexer question

I have purchased edocman and I think I will need the PDF Indexing capabilities as well. I just want to know how a few things work first.

What happens if a password protected PDF file is indexed? Will this document show in search results? I ask because my client wants the documents to be searchable, but only by title/author and not the entire text of the document. In other words, they would only be able to view the entire document if they had the password. I realize that I could just set up a registered section, but the client doesn't want them to have to login to the website. Is there a way in the indexer config to choose what gets indexed for search results?

Also, this may be more of an edocman question, but is there a separate search plugin that would only search edocman and not the whole site? The client wants a page with the option to search a certain group of documents and not necessarily the rest of the website. Thoughts?

To be honest, we haven't tried to index the PDF files that having Password before. So we aren't sure how it will work, we don't know to prevent searching the PDF content with password included.
Edocman has the separated search module with PDF indexer plugin, you don't need to purchase anything else. The main problem is we can't sure if the PDF indexer can index PDF files with password and how to prevent searching from those PDF files.
