is it right was created by Dominique chiquet
I want a simple solution for my members to download the text of my articles written in K2 items. is edocman good for that?
I also have OS Membership, can I integrate with it? = members have permission to download items depending on their memberhip?

Hi Dominique,
Unfortunately, Edocman doesn't have feature to download the text of Joomla K2 articles.

but can i have pdf or text files on my server and use edocman like with a link to those files for users to be able to download them?

Ah yes, in this case you are able use Edocman. You can create the documents on Edocman, and then, add the download link in articles in K2

just purchased edocman.
I created a new edocman doc with link to be downloaded but when clicking on it i get the email below, when I click on the "click here to download" i get the same email again, the same happens when I click on "view" on the doc itself.
Am I not placing the PDF I am trying to download in the right place? please help. thx

Hi,
You can go to Back-end > Edocman > Configuration > Field: Download Type and select Direct Download.
