PDF Indexer - Doc Content blank when indexed

Hi!

I have the pdf indexer working fine on my local dev env (osx) but on my hosting partner (linux) the component is installed without errors, configured correctly (from what I can tell) and files listed correctly in the Documents Manager view, but when I index the files (new files or re-index) I first got the "permission denied"-message in the Doc Content field in the detail view of the document. I had the same on my local dev env but was able to fix it by adding permission to the root/components/com_docindexer/lib/binaries/mac/pdftotext file. I did the same on the hosting env but now the "permission denied"-message is replaced by only a blank field. I've also tried updating the permissions to the folder and files where I have the pdf's without success. Suggestions?
