"Are you sure you want to leave this page" message

If our customers are using Internet Explorer they get an annoying "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message every time they try to save or save and close a document in EDocman. This problem does not occur with FireFox or Chrome. This problem seems to be caused by the way Internet Explorer handles the onbeforeunload command. Is there a customization we can make to stop this message from appearing?

To be honest, I think this is a browser behavior and I don't have a clue how to solve it.

Could you please try to google it to see whether there is any workaround?
