we have been asked if when adding file via frontend, it would be possible to eDocman to give the title automatically from the file name. Same way as in the BULK IMPORT function the filename would be used as the TITLE, if no TITLE field is added. This would make adding a new file more faster and easier. For example:
New file imported via frontend with File name:
sample-file-name-company.pdf
Title would be automatically if TITLE-field left empty:
sample file name company
Would this kind of feature be possible in the future versions of eDocman?
Another thing they would like to have is a bulk-import function on frontend. NOw that is possible only via backend. I have created a BULK IMPORT category where all bulk-imported files are imported. Then they can go throught them one by one changing the category. But Bulk-Import from frontend would be very good function! Any possibility for this in the future?
