URGENT - Major upload and publishing issues

Hi,

I am fast losing confidence in the product we purchased....

Before i describe the issue please note Server upload max filesize and edocman max filesize are both set to 50Mb and zip is added to the filetypes.

1. when i upload a file i click save the zip uploads to 100% and then says: Save failed with the following error: You need to choose atleast one file for your Document.

2. Bulk upload - all files upload on clicking next step only a single file is present on the add title screen BUT all files are 0kb and corrupted.

3. on clicking download for each file filesize = 0 and the archive is corrupted OR it just produces an empty download.txt.

I am hoping for a swift resolution or refund!

.ZIP (uppercase) works but lowercase fails - in your next release i would suggest in the install sql you update the joomla core content table to include lowercase zip and rar if your software is to support it out of the box... tested this myself today and it works fine.

Sorry. This is not very clear to me. Could you please give me more information about it so that I can check it?

You are saying that when you upload a file called document.ZIP, it works. But it won't work when you upload the file document.zip ?

Please help giving me clear information so that I can check and if it is the issue, I will address it right away

Joomla 3.4.4
PHP 5.5.29
EDocman version 1.7.0

Access Level Inheritance
Use Herachical Folder Structure
Allowed file types: doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pdf, zip, rar, png, zipx
Documents Path is set correctly

Problem: if I create a new document (or edit existing one) and try to upload a zip file (lower case ".zip") then eDocman complains "Save failed with the following error: You need to choose atleast one file for your Document."

If I change the extension to .ZIP then it works. There is obviously some filtering going on but I can't find it anywhere.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

It causes by some changes in Joomla 3.4.4. We are going to release new version 1.7.1 this week (contains other improvements) within this week

Please wait us until the end of this week to get the new version and we will have the issue fixed

In case you are in rush, you can get this file, unzip it, upload to administrator/components/com_edocman/model/common folder of your site and the issue will be fixed
