Faster way to create Category tree

Hi,
I need a little help. Is there faster way to create categories and subcategories tree than create it one by one in admnistration console of EDocman? I have approx. 20 categories, every one has 5 subcats, every of these subcats has more 5 cubcats and this continues 2 times more. It is terrible to create it one by one, it will take year or two to complete only category tree, and I will need to fill the last ones subcats with few documents each. I would appreciate any faster way. As I understood, import is not possible. What about create tree via FTP or something?
