Directory structure for all the documents was created by hella
Hi,
When I upload a file for download all the uploaded documents are stored in only one directory. If you have many documents this is very unorganized. Since I have many categories and subcategories I would like to have my uploaded documents stored on disk in the same structure (directories and subdirectories)
I thought it had to do with the configuration option: Use Herachical Folder Structure = yes but that makes no difference. All documents are put together.
How can I do that?
thanks.

Hi Hella
The correct steps are :
1. Set "Use Herachical Folder Structure " config option to Yes.
2. When you create a category, there is a field called Path. You can enter the name of the folder you want to store files/documents of that category. For example:
- You have a Category A, and want to store document from that to folder A, enter A into the Path.
- You have sub categories A1, a child category of category A and want to store documents from that category into a sub-folder A1 for example, in the path field enter A/A1
Please try that and it should work as expected
