Hi

I am no longer able to replace files using Joomla 3.3.3 and the latest version of Edocman downloaded today under subscription 30/7/14

I can open the Edocman file entry, upload the latest version and press save and a message says it has saved but the version remains as is. This is happening in both the front and back end.

Cheers

Hi Richard

Could you please give me more information about the issue you are having ? You are saying that when you upload a new file, that file doesn't replace the old file ?

Please let me know so that I can check it further

Regards,

Tuan

Hi

Yes after I've pressed the 'Choose File' button, selected the new file then pressed save, the old file is still there and has not been replaced with the new one. When pressing the save button I am getting a successful save message not any error message.

Hi

I've tested it with a new file and that will allow newer versions to save over the old one. It seems it is only doing this on existing files.

Hi Richard

I could not check it now. But could you please try to go to EDocman -> Configuration, find the config option "Overwrite existing file", set it to Yes and try again ?

Tuan

There is something about the attached document that EDocman no longer likes. I have tried other docx Word files and they are OK

Please try uploading it yourself

Cheers
