Security updates since 1.5.2 was created by David-Andrew
Hi everyone,
Working on a site with EDocman 1.5.2 installed on a customized installation. Therefor two questions:
- is there a changelog for EDocman, I can't find it in the documentation
- has there been a security update for EDocman since 1.5.2?
Kind regards
David

Hi David
I was about to reply you via email, but since you posted your questions here, I will answer it directly here in case other customers have same questions.
=> If I remember correctly, there were few releases : 1.5.5, 1.5.6 and 1.5.7. Unfortunately, I don't keep change logs, so I could not show it to you. The most important changes:
1. We implemented SEF router in version 1.5.5 to generate better SEF urls for categories and documents. So if the client really care about SEF urls, they might want to upgrade.
2. We also re-implemented the layout so that it is responsive using twitter bootstrap.
3. We improve code quality in the front-end, use our RAD library to reduce the repeating code.
4. Some other bugs fixed. But to be honest, I don't remember exactly.
=> There are no security issues found during these releases (infact, we haven't received any report about security issues with EDocman from the beginning).
Hope the answers are clear to you.
Regards,
Tuan

Sorry, but that's ridiculous. Exactly this unprofessionell attitude makes me to change to another product.
Changelogs -> doesn't bother you what the hell have the customers to know what's going on.
Version Numbers? -> Who is interested in that. I have Version 1.5.7 from January or February 2014. What Version Number does the Version from 31.07.2014 have? It's still displayed as Version 1.5.7
If you really want to do a serious business you have to be much much more customer friendly and not only grab the money from your customers...that is what it looks to me.
