I'm having trouble with version 1.5.7 to allow a specific user group to upload documents in a specific category. It used to work in version 1.5.5, but after update it's not.
When allowing create in general options it works fine (but then I have to disallow create for all other categories), but when allowing create only in category permissions it's not.
Reverting to 1.5.5. temporarily has solved the problem.
1. Upgrade to 1.5.7 again.
2. Submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site.
3. Explain exactly how you want the system to work and how you set up the system to has it works in that way. I will check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you.
It's a customer's site, so it has to work and I want to leave it for the time being on 1.5.5.
I'll make copies for you on my own server. One with 1.5.5 and one with 1.5.7. and give you login details for both sites in a support ticket.
No changes in settings, so you can see the difference.
Thanks for reporting the issue. I found and fixed it (see the support ticket for detailed response). So if anyone has this issue, please download latest version, upgrade it to your site.
