Download button not displaying was created by Carey
Hi,
Bought and installed the product yesterday but when I show a category inside an article by using the embed into an article feature I don't see the download button. I only see the details button. I've checked the configuration and "Hide download button" setting is definitely set to "No".
It could be some beginners error that i'm making but I can't see where.
I'm using 1.5.5 on Joomla 3.x. I'm using {edocmancategory ID_OF_CATEGORY} inside the article to display the list of files in that category.
I've not checked if the download button appears when I use edocman in a module but I don't think it will show it then either.
Anyone any advice?
Carey

Hi Carey
Could you please go to EDocman -> Configuration, click on Options button on the toolbar, select Public Group, set Downloads permission to be Allowed and check it again ?

Same problem. Joomla 3.1 Permissions for Public are set download allowed. The button appears if logged in, but not to public.

Hi Montano
I believe it is just something wrong with your settings. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me admin account of your site so that I can check and correct it for you ?
