Override tempalte

hi admin,
I have to make an override of edocman view.
I am usding basic joomla override technique but it's not working.
template is coming from component not from my theme template folder.
Please tell me how can I ovevride the views folder?
It's urgent...

EDocman use Joomla template override, so if you override the layout in the correct way, that should work. Maybe you can :

1. Send me the link to the page

2. Send me FTP account of the site

I will check to see what's wrong with the override and guide you

I have tried overrides in following two locations but no change. Quite frustrating.

/templates/template-name/html/com_edocman/document/default.php

/templates/template-name/styles/custom-style/layouts/com_edocman/document/default.php
