Embed List of Docs by Category in Article

Is there a way to embed a list of documents that are in a given category into an article? If so, how?

This feature is just added to the extension (version 1.5.5). So please login to your account, download latest version, upgrade it to your site.

After that, go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find and publish the EDocman Category plugin.

Then edit the article, enter the syntax below :

{edocmancategory ID_OF_CATEGORY}, ID_OF_CATEGORY is the id of the category which you want to display documents from.

Please do that and It should work as expected. You can see the demo at edocman.joomdonation.org/documents-in-article

I did the update but now all my documents are gone from the front end. I see them on the backend and in the search, but not off nav links?

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me admin and FTP account of the site so that I can check and correct it for you ?

I got it working. Thanks. I had to go to prefs and save. Then everything was fine.


Now I'm wondering if we can display the list of the docs in any other formats (ie table)?
