"Assign Documents To Users" Permission not working

Hi,

I have created a special user group and access level specifically for eDocman. When the eDocman user signs in to the admin end of the website (Joomla 2.5.14 w/ eDocman 1.5.2) he can only access the eDocman extension.

Everything works great EXCEPT when he tries to assign a specific user to a category or document. When the admin tries to add a specific user the following message appears in the lightbox "You are not authorised to view this resource."

Any ideas what the problem might be?
