Download button in an article

Hi,
I need to place a download button or a link that takes users to a download button in an article.I tried to do this by configuring the mod_edocman_documents. I named the position showdoc and then placed {loadmodule showdoc}. Nothing happens.
I suspect a problem with Itemid.
The menu itself works.
Any ideas?

I am sorry. It seems your account was deleted by accident for some reasons. (Our website is spammed too much and we had to delete the accounts manually and maybe your account was deleted by mistake. Really sorry).

I hope you will still check this forum post. The solution is quite simple, you can simply publish the EDocman editor plugin comes with the extension. Then when you create an article, you will see a button which allows you to insert link to EDocman documents.

Just use that function and it will work well !
