'Save as copy' button not working was created by pietervdr
Hi,

Since I had a problem with my production site, i did a test with a fresh Joomla 3.0.3 installation with EDocman 1.5.2 and it appeared that the 'Save As Copy' button gives the following error message:

An error has occurred.
Missing field in database: EdocmanTabledocument catid.
Return to Control Panel

This happens in Documents. It does work in Licences.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance.

Hi

Thanks for reporting this issue. This week, I am pretty busy (have to spend time to find a house for my family), so I will spend time to check this issue during the weekend. Will it be OK for you ?

Hi Pieter

I am sorry. I was busy with something in my life (had to spend most of my time to find a house for my family) and haven't had a chance to work on this item yet. Will work on it within today or tomorrow !

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

You still haven't found anything? Hope you do within short.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Pieter

P.S. I meant a place for your family, not "the bug"

Is this issue ever solved?

I do not have many documents, but I have to renew them regularly, so a 'Save as Copy' function is very handy for me.

I am guessing not! just paid for the latest version as my subscription had expired and the backend was not working with the latest version of Joomla 3.3.1 so I had to buy EDocMan again, it works again but NO SAVE AS A COPY still, its been over a year since this was reported! come on! get it fixed please!
