Front End Uploading was created by Mike
Hi Tual,
I am having great difficulty in uploading from the front end.....
I have read through the forum and can see nothing which can help.
I am logged on as Super Admin, so should have all the permissions.
The Upload button on the Category Layout, goes to the file details screen, but when I click on the Submit button on the Upload screen, nothing happens.... Cliccking on the cancel button, nothing happens either... no hour-glass.. just nothing.
Also, on the Colum layout and Table layout screens, if I click on the Upload button, I get the message "Invalid Document or you are not allowed to view that document ", and it takes me back to the front home page.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
cheers
Mike

Mike,
I am having the same issue. Could it be the Upload file size limit? My max upload file size is set to 30 MB but the Default INI says 2MB. Do we have to make a hard code file size change in the server? Have you found a solution yet?

I too am having this same issue. I used firebug to debug the page and I got "ReferenceError: Hash is not defined @ /media/system/js/validate.js:4". some initial digging on the web came up with a possible solution but it wouldn't work because it references the incorrect file causing the issue.
