Please download latest version from My Downloads section, upgrade it to your site. The extension will fix the created date and modified date data of the documents (created from old version which didn't have the data available) and it will solve your issue

1. For the time being, please go to EDocman -> Configuration, set "Days for new" config option to 0 (or just empty it) to remove the Nrew indicator

2. Any chance you could setup your site to a temp server so that I can look at it to see what's wrong and get it corrected ?
