Problem viewing the files

Hi I start using edocman a few days ago.

I just realize that when I download a file I can´t open it. I try with png, rar, and pdf and none of them work.

When I enter to details the File type is listed as "application/octet-stream"

So whats going on how can i solve this issue?

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can check it?
