EDocman use Joomla core Multilingual feature, so you don't need to use Joomfish. Just go to EDocman -> Configuration, find the config option Activate Multilingual feature, set it to Yes. After that, you will be able to create documents, categories... in different languages (it works in the same way with Joomla core).

I need one category with all the documents inside. Some users speak English, others French but they all see the same documents.
I only need to have the top category title in all languages.

=> I just checked and see that Joomfish is not yet compatible with Joomla 2.5, so you cannot use Joomfish on your Joomla 2.5 website .

Are you sure that version of Joomfish works properly with Joomla 2.5 ? I asked this because I checked Joomfish site and saw that there is no stable version of Joomfish for Joomla 2.5 released yet.
