Purpose of field "File url" on documents

Could you tell me what is the purpose of this field ? The details are not appearing in this case. With SH404 activated I still have some 404...

The purpose of this field is that It allows you to put URL of the file in case it is located on External Server (not on your server). In this case, you just need to enter URL of that file into the field.
