Backend language strings

Hi! I just found out (thanks @renekreijveld) that a lot of visible textstrings in the backend are not translated because there are no language strings, but they are hardcoded. Are there plans to use languages strings in the backend for all visible elements? Would be great! If this is done I could maybe help with the translation in Dutch.
