SOLVED: Missing thumbnails in category views

Anyone have issues with the image thumbnails not appearing?

In the admin area, the thumbnail field isn't displaying the saved image either. See attached image. I am able to successfully upload the image thumbnail without error. But I am wondering if something is going wrong after upload.

SOLVED: Well I feel silly.
Disable the "Build Titles Spans" option in the Rockettheme template and the problem goes away.

Its the Rockettheme template I am using that is causing the problem. I thought it was the smart image loading feature but disabling it didn't do the trick.

When I figure out the issue, I will post it here so other Rockettheme users will benefit.
