Manual with instructions was created by Pierluis
Hi there,
is there any manual explaining how this extension should be used?
I have just installed it and I have great difficulties in understanding how it works and what I have to do in order to use it

Hi
First of all, I am sorry for not having a tutorial document available yet. I will have it ready by the end of this week (If you have some experience with Joomla, I believe you can use it without any problem).
For now, please give me the answers for the following questions so that I can guide you :
1. Are your files already uploaded to server or not ?
2. Who do you want to be able to download your documents ? All public users ? Or users from a specific group ?
After receiving your answers, I will guide you with detail instruction !
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
thank you for your reply.
1. Yes, I have noticed that inside the folder "edocman" there is my .pdf file (I have not transferred it with Filezilla).
2. I am just trying to test a new website that I would like to create using Joomla 2.5 and I would need to create a "file management" system so that either I (administrator) and users (registered users with credentials) could download and also upload files (.doc, .pdf, .xls).
I have created a category and a document and they appear on the page but when I click on it I get an error (you can check at this address: test.puzzlecom.it).
Thank you, bye
Pierluis.

It seems something with SEF (I noticed you are using IIS server and sometime, SEF doesn't work very well on IIS server - Window server)

Thank you Tuan,
actually my provider had advised me it was a risk to install Joomla on Windows.
I am going to pass onto an Unix server, after that I will be back!
Thank you very much.
