Hi
Right now, there is not a migration tool from Docman into EDocman yet. I will try to implement it in the future !

First of all, Docman plus J! ACL sounds really great.
Migration:
I assume eDocman is a true "fork" of joomlatools original product. To be honest, I expected to find a migration and conversion tool. Also modified versions of the ProductivityPack (bulk import, thumb-generator, Notifier).
EDIT:
Just found out you have a bulk import.

Hi
First of all, EDocman and Docman are the two different extensions, EDocman is not a Fork of Docman from Joomlatools. Although the layout looks the same (to be honest, I used some csss + HTML code for category view and document detail view from Docman for EDocman) .
One of the main different feature between Docman and EDocman is that EDocman has a very flexible ACL feature. See joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_co...le&id=109&Itemid=134 to understand how permission in EDocman works .
Right now, I don't use a conversation tools to convert from Docman into EDocman yet. However, I will consider developing it in the future. Right now, adding more features into the extension has higher priority than developing this conversation tool .
The Bulk import feature like you mentioned are now avaialble (added from version 1.0.5) .
Regards,
Tuan
