missing upload in Frontend

Regarding your question, yes, there will be an upload button in the front-end if you have Create permission on the category you are accessing to.

I found the upload button will come out only for new category creation with Create permission or from default on that time.

After category created, I tried to set Create permission for the created categories, it won't work! Please check.

i can't upload from front. I create categories 1st and i assign permisions but don't work.

I am sorry for lately response. I am on new year holiday here (please see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_New_Year ).

Regarding the issue, please set Create Permission to be Allowed for the group you want to be able to upload documents from front-end . After that, when users from that group login, they will be able to click on the Upload link (next to category title) to upload document to that category.

Hope my explanation is clear to you. If you still have trouble, please submit a support ticket giving me administrator account of your site so that I can change the setting for you !

I have done exactly what you have described in this posting and nothing is happening. Is there something deeper into the program that needs to be changed.
