"New" information propagete to higher level category was created by Piotr Gr??likowski
Hi,
is there a chance to implement additional functionality that would inform visitors that "new" (or updated) documents are available in some sub-sub category, i.e. category/documents tree like this:
top_cat <- inform here that there is something "new" in 'some' category underneath
sub_cat1
doc1
doc2
docn
sub_cat2 <- inform here that there is something "new" in 'some' category underneath
sub_sub_cat1 <- inform here that there is something "new" in this category
doc1
doc2
docn <- this is "new" uploaded content
sub_sub_cat2
...
Same goes for multiple 'new' uploads for different sub categories, always higher level category should informat that there is something new in subcategory.
At the moment only current category for document can show 'New' info, would it be possible to propagete this information to top level category?
Im shure that this function is needed for more than myself
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Thank you very much for your suggestion. We think this is a great idea and appreciate you taking the time to share it with us. However, before moving forward, we need to carefully consider whether this feature is truly necessary for the wider community. Sometimes, adding new functionality can change the way content is managed and may cause confusion for existing users.
We will review your proposal and discuss it further with our team and user community. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will keep you updated on any decisions regarding this feature.
Thank you again for your input!
Best regards,
Dam
