Option to suppress Description and Short Description in CATEGORY

Hello,
We have a use for Edocman to allow users to upload files to a specified location for use by another application.. We do not need to enter anything for Short Description or Description. It would be nice if we had an option to suppress the description fields in the CATEGORY dialog, so they do not appear when UPLOADING from these categories.

Hi Noel,
Actually, we don't have option to hide description fields in "Add document" form, but we can make the change to hide those fields.
Let me know the "Add document" form you are using, could you please send me the screenshot of the form you are using so i can suggest solution for you?

Hi Mr Dam,
We were hoping an option to suppress could be added to the CATEGORY dialog:
 
We are using the menu item UPLOAD with a CATEGORY that specifies the upload location

You can submit ticket on category: Edocman and provide your site url with super admin account. I will help you to remove description fields in those forms for you.

Thank you for the response. I have worked out how to modify simple.php and edit.php to suppress the descriptions for a particular category. I can make these overrides.
